David A. Arnold, an American comedian, passed away at the age of 54, according to his family.

He passed away at home three dates into his most recent stand-up tour.

According to the family statement, the cause of death was natural causes. Since we are all surprised and grieving over this loss, kindly keep our family in your prayers and respect our privacy at this time.

It Ain't For The Weak, the comedian's second Netflix comedy special, has finally been made available. Fat Ballerina, his debut film, came out in 2020.


Having begun his stand-up career in 1997, he was also a writer and producer for the Netflix sitcom comeback Fuller House.

Bryan Behar, a fellow Fuller House writer, expressed his shock at the news, calling him "one of the greatest comedians I've ever seen" and "an all-around lovely dude." He said, "David was, at last, enjoying the results of decades of labor."

Two adolescent girls and Arnold's wife Julie Harkness are left behind.
